Guiding You Through Medicare Health Insurance and Prescription Coverage Options

The APPRISE Program helps you navigate through Medicare health insurance, prescription coverage and long-term care insurance options.  The aim is to assist you in making informed decisions regarding your health coverage.  You can learn about eligibility for other available benefits, get assistance with your Medicare claim and billing questions and help completing necessary paperwork. APPRISE is a free, trusted resource to assist you in enrolling in the most comprehensive coverage available.  A statewide program, APPRISE services are available to individuals over age 60 and those under age 60 on Medicare.

APPRISE counselors are volunteers, who are specially trained by representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.  You can meet one-on-one with an APPRISE counselor at numerous community sites throughout Delaware County.  If you are unable to travel, an APPRISE counselor can meet with you where you live.  APPRISE also has a special toll-free telephone hotline to respond quickly to your questions 1-800-783-7067. The hours of the hotline are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
