In-Home Program to Promote Your Independence

You may not be able to travel to a Senior Center but you shouldn’t have to miss out on its uplifting benefits. Open your door to meaningful recreational and social activity—participate in Senior Center at Home Program.

This in-home thearaputic recreation service takes SCS’ caring staff and trained volunteers to you. Together, you can enjoy a range of wonderful activities. You can, for example, play board games, tend to a windowsill garden, listen to and discuss books and poetry or rekindle your love of painting. Senior Center at Home also has a special program, called PAWS, for pet lovers. Volunteers and their trained dogs visit with you. Getting to know these “furry friends” is just part of the fun.

Senior Center at Home may be just what you need to forget your worries and boost your spirits. Open your door to a world of difference.
