Transportation
Round-trip shared-ride transportation is available through the County by Community Transit. The shared-ride program is 50 cents per trip or $1.00 for a round-trip. Contact the Center to arrange for Community Transit. Community Transit will transport individuals age 65 or older who live in Glenolden, Morton, Norwood, Prospect Park, Ridley Park, Ridley Township, Rutledge, Swarthmore.  Please contact SEPTA for a bus schedule if you would like to take public transportation.  (http://www.septa.org)

Meals
Nutritious meals are served at lunchtime Monday through Friday. Home delivered meals are also available for those who cannot travel to the Center.  See our menu, updated monthly.  Reservations for meals are requested two weeks in advance for the hot meal and same day for the deli meal, by calling the Center. A $2.00 per person donation is suggested for individuals over age 60, $3.00 for persons under age 60.

Membership
Membership is open to people of all races, creeds, and cultures, age 50 and older. To become a member, pick up a registration form at the Center or click here. Fill it out and pay the annual fee of $20.00 per year for regular membership or $35.00 for a trustee level. The fee supports the operating budget, is voluntary and activities are open to members and non-members alike. Members may receive reduced rates for fee-based programs as they are added to the activity calendar or Center for Life Long Learning.

Directions
From Media: Proceed north on Baltimore Pike (.7 miles to Route 320/Sproul Road (end of Springfield Mall on left). Turn right onto 320 South, proceed thru “S-Curve”. You will then reach intersection 320 and Chester Road (traffic light). Proceed straight (do not continue on 320). Road becomes Swarthmore Avenue. Proceed on Swarthmore Avenue for 1.6 miles. Schoolhouse Senior Center (formerly Folsom School) is a two-story brick building on left. Turn left onto 6th Avenue and left at first driveway onto parking lot.
