Who Were These Men? Soliders and Marines of the 19th Century British Empire

Who Were These Men? Soliders and Marines of the 19th Century British Empire This class takes a different approach to the study of history. The normal methods teach by examining major events, governments, and powerful leaders. This instructor takes the view that the common man are the makers of history; the Privates, Corporals, Non-Commissioned Officers and non-field grade Officers. Through medals, original service pension documents, letters, photographs, and other militia this class will explore who these men were and the events of everyday life that created British military history in the 19th century.
