Come visit the land where palm trees sway and learn the beauty of Hawaiian dance-the hula! As the hips keep gentle time to the music, lovely hula hands tell the story of that beautiful land. This is a wonderful low-impact dance for all ages and abilities. In this 10 week beginner hula class, students will learn the history of hula, proper stance, hand movements, six hula steps and a few Hawaiian words. These components will be put together in our first hula ‘auana (modern hula).
